Job Summary

The Assistant HR Manager supports the HR Manager in executing human resource strategies, managing daily HR operations, and ensuring compliance with labor laws and company policies. This role plays a key part in talent management, employee engagement, and organizational development.


Key Responsibilities
  • Support recruitment activities: job postings, screening, interviews, and onboarding.
  • Assist in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures.
  • Manage employee records and ensure accurate HR documentation.
  • Handle employee relations issues and support conflict resolution.
  • Coordinate performance management processes (appraisals, KPIs, reviews).
  • Assist in training and development programs.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and company regulations.
  • Oversee payroll coordination, attendance, and leave management.
  • Support employee engagement and retention initiatives.
  • Prepare HR reports and analytics for management decision-making.
  • Supervise junior HR staff and administrative personnel.

Job Requirements
Education & Qualification
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Professional HR certification such as SHRM or CIPD is a plus.
Experience
  • 3–5 years of HR experience.
  • At least 1–2 years in a senior HR or supervisory role.
  • Hands-on experience in recruitment, employee relations, and HR operations.
Technical Skills
  • Knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
  • Experience with HRIS systems and payroll processes.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel and reporting.
Soft Skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Problem-solving and conflict resolution ability.
  • High level of confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Leadership and team coordination mindset.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Time-to-fill vacancies.
  • Employee turnover rate.
  • Employee satisfaction and engagement levels.
  • Compliance and audit results.
  • Accuracy of HR records and payroll coordination.
